Welcome change?  Most of us do not.  Especially when it happens as a result of someone else’s mistake.  Change is difficult enough, but when change comes because of infidelity it embarks us on a journey that is unintended.  Unintended journeys are painful, heart breaking, life altering, and sad.  There is so much loss.  How does one travel down this path that was forced upon them?

I know and speak from experience that this type of betrayal is survivable.  The only way to survive is by relying on God who is never-changing, never hurts, never betrays, and loves at all times.  If you are looking for a way to make sense of your unintended journey ask God for His peace and comfort.  Ask Him for the strength and courage to face all the changes that will come your way.  He will be there through it all, trust Him.

There is so much hope in realizing you are not the only one that has ever been flung into this journey. The grip of waking up one day and everything you thought about your life, your husband and your marriage is tossed aside for this unintended journey. Infidelity is not a death sentence for your marriage but it is a new beginning to walk with Christ in a new and exciting way.
